Pos+Ability is a Cambridgeshire based charity offering chair-based exercise and one-to-one support to people living with long-term neurological conditions including, but not limited to, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and Muscle Dystrophy.

‘Apathy, or loss of motivation, is a common non-motor symptom in Parkinson’s. However, we don’t fully understand what causes it, so treatments are limited.’

WHO     30 people with Parkinson’s who are not taking Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors. You’ll also need to be able to take Atromoxetine and have an MRI scan.

WHAT   You’ll need to make three visits to the clinic at Cambridge. At your first visit you’ll have an MRI brain scan.In the next 2 visits you’ll be given the research drug (Atomaxetine) or a placebo (dummy drug) and complete activities on a computer.
